Privacy policy
Summary
You don’t need an account. Measurements you enter are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. If you save cars, items or checks, they are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device only.
What is stored on your device
- Saved cars, items and checks (if you choose to save them) — key wtfmc.garage.v1.
- Unit preference — key wtfmc.unit.
You can view, export and delete saved data on My saved cars & items, or clear it through your browser settings.
Shared links
When you use “Share link”, the measurements and item sizes are encoded in the web address. Anyone with the link can see them. Item names, VINs and registration numbers are never included.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics
We do not currently run any analytics scripts. If we add Cloudflare Web Analytics (which works without cookies), this section will be updated.
Advertising
No advertising scripts currently run on this site. If ads are introduced (via Adsterra), they will only load after you consent, and this policy will be updated first.
Contact and your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we don’t hold accounts or calculation data, we usually hold no personal data about you unless you email us. See the contact page.
